Wrong Trousers 'PYJAMAS' Day 2010!
The runup to The Wrong Trousers Day for the Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Foundation has really begun – and this year the theme is ‘Wear your pyjamas with pride!’

The Wrong Trousers Day is one of the most popular charity days of the year, and more and more people take part as word of it spreads.

You donate £1 and wear the wrong trousers to work, school, shopping or just at home. The theme, being pyjamas, suggests you wear them all day – but that’s not the only option and you can wear any different trousers, just as long as they’re different to your usual ones!

You can now register for a FREE Wrong Trousers Day pack at http://www.wrongtrousersday.org, so hop on over and get ready to celebrate the day in style!

Sandwiches support the Children's Foundation!
On September 7th (year TBC), Brambles Foods will launch three cracking new sandwiches in an exciting new venture with Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation. They will be supporting children in hospitals and hospices around the UK when the new sandwiches go on sale, donating 15p from every sandwich sold to the charity.

The first sandwich is the much essential, and apparently ever popular, Wensleydale and Rhubarb Chutney sandwich (in my opinion it tastes better than it sounds!) The second, a ‘Summer Pudding’ sandwich made from a fruit conserve and jammed full of even more fruit! The last is a hot eat ciabatta, filled with a specially created gorgonzola rarebit, with traditional gammon ham, and good old English mature cheddar cheese. Predictably it is named ‘I do like a bit of Gorgonzola!’

The new sandwiches will be available across the country in a whole host of retailers. Brambles Foods also aims to produce special seasonal sandwiches, alongside Christmas specials, lunch packs and promotions with the Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation, hoping to raise over £25,000 for the charity.

Guy Truman, Sales and Marketing Director of Brambles Foods: “We have been looking for a long time for a charity that matched many of the original Brambles values such as humour, fun, innovation and quality that have been part of our brand for a very long time. Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation’s ambitions, outlook and goals fit like a glove.”
