The finale of the first series is often placed as the best game of the four by reviewers and players. And I’m no different in this feeling.

It’s the best of the lot at mixing a good Wallace and Gromit adventure with a good game, the puzzles are tricky but satisfying to complete and it’s got a good feel to it.

Once you get into the belly of the game the emphasis is firmly placed on golf. In fact if you’re a fan of Wallace and Gromit and golf stop reading right this second and buy the game! However you don’t need to be an expert, or even a beginner, at golf to understand what’s going on. This is Wallace and Gromit style golf, very different to the normal thing!

The story itself has a number of twists and turns, which is why I’m holding back from giving too much away, but every time you think you’ve finished the game it picks up another pace. And the way that things connect together is brilliant - things seemingly thrown away at the beginning come back towards the end and all play a part in progressing through the story.

The Telltale series has been superb for Wallace and Gromit fans, an essential buy, but this game excels itself above the rest. All the characters are pushed once more, new ideas and back stories are introduced and at no point does the charm of the piece drop.

A brilliant achievement by Telltale and a game Wallace and Gromit fans will want to play again and again.
