Fluffles the dog was used by Piella Bakewell as part of her evil scheme to kill 13 bakers for revenge at being dropped as the Bake-O-Lite girl.
Fluffles was badly mistreated, as seen by the fact that she slept in a cardboard box.
In Piella’s final attempt to kill a baker Fluffles fell in love with Gromit, rescuing his items from the bin after Piella threw them out and even briefly touching hands with Gromit. With Piella dead she was both distraught and confused and left Gromit. However she returned later that day, unable to break from her love.
As far as we know she still lives with Wallace and Gromit.
